The broad international scope and technical variability of projects we are involved in has resulted in a strong, broad-based specialization in the geochemical processes related to mining and on the impact management and risk management associated with these processes. Geochemical issues such as acid rock drainage (ARD), cyanide management, metal leaching etc. remain some of the largest issues for the mining industry, in terms of managing these issues, public perception of these issues, regulatory compliance of these issues and ultimately the liability associated with these issues. Water quality issues and therefore mine waste management are often key drivers in the development, operation and ultimately the closure of a mine site.

The expertise within pHase Geochemistry Inc has been developed specifically to characterize these geochemical processes, particularly acid rock drainage (ARD) and metal leaching (ML) and to assist in waste management planning, water quality assessments and closure planning.
